Brilliant effort so far tonight!!!
Just shows that hard work really pays off..... I hope he can keep playing like this and cement his spot in the 22 by round 1.

(Looks like his disposal has improved a bit too... :p)
 
He is definitely playing like he used to when he was a force with his run and long kicking. For a while there he had the best yardage in the AFL when you added his carry to his kicking.

does look the johnno of old , i know its only a pre season cup match, but still he does look fit and is bringing back memories of a few seasons back when he was tearing it up.

clarkey looking good too, reid hasnt been tested much. The few times its gone to him he hasnt looked out of place though
 
For a bloke with a rep for being an ordinary kick, jeez he slots some nice goals. Liking some of the CW ruck work too.

Playing well, but he is playing on kids. His ability to get himself in the right spots has been superb. Foot skills have been sublime.

The big plus out of the first half is CAMERON WOOD - he is the best tap ruckman we have and his work with neon leon in close has been excellent.

Pendles - all class

And what is with the run and carry through the middle of the ground - I don't understand it!

Reid has been ok down back, three talls in the forward 50m isn't working, but the pressure and tackling is keeping the ball in the forward 50

First half Kicks 105, handballs 104. That's a lot higher handball to kick ratio than we are used to.
 
Pretty hard to get a kick on Harry O it seems. Hasn't given McKinley a sniff
 
Boys are looking smart as whips. No slow movement at all. Wood great, Reid looks good so far, a few nice moves by Corrie. Tarks/Johnno great.

Dawes has looked a bit soft. What's happening with Stanley - haven't sighted him.

Agree Dawes has Disappointing just looks down on Confidence just needs a Big Play I guess
 
Dawes and Cloke have both had a fair share of game time. Dawes has been quiet.
