welsh anthem

I saw the new TV ad featuring the crows and power players and in the back ground there was the national anthem of Wales playing. Does anyone know what that was all about.

Being a welshman mate I was surprised as well, I think they have used our anthem due to it's stirring sound, probaly a little more proud and stirring than Avance Australia fair which is also a great anthem, The welsh national anthem is one of the oldest in the world and I have seen many a tough welsh rugby player in tears whilst it has been played, I would just like to say it's a honour to have our anthem connected with your great game.

Mate it brings tears to my eyes as well & i'm not even Welsh.

Anyone who is so inclined should down load the Welsh Anthem along with other songs from the Welsh Male Choir & you wont be disappointed.
