I know there's already a thread talking about him, but it's just been made official that he will leave the crows and apply for the psd.

ADELAIDE forward Scott Welsh will nominate for the NAB AFL pre-season draft after turning down a one-year contract offered by the Crows.
Welsh, 28, was on a performance-based contract this season and earned a one-year extension after topping Adelaide’s goalkicking.
He was pushing for a new one-year deal with the option of a second year dependent on his form and off-field behaviour.
The Crows ordered Welsh perform behaviour counselling this year after the goalsneak was involved in an incident outside a city nightclub in September.
Adelaide football manager John Reid suggested the incident contributed to the Crows’ decision not to meet Welsh’s demands.
“The club is disappointed the negotiations couldn’t be resolved,” Reid said.
“Unfortunately the behaviour issues this year were significant to the point that the club believed Scott needed to have a season where there were no behavioural issues at all before it would negotiate another season.”
A talented but injury-prone goalkicker, Welsh played 129 games for Adelaide including 21 in 2007. He also played 36 games for the Kangaroos before returning to his hometown, citing family reasons, in 2000.
Welsh becomes the third player to quit the Crows this year, after ruckmen Ben Hudson and John Meesen.
