Amazing game very good to see us winning away. I thought the umpires we're a little soft in the forth but not to the point of needing to complain about it.

For sure...when the pies got 15 points ahead I thought we were gone but to our boys credit we fought it out and dug deep!! YAY!! What a character building win!!!

I was listening to the last quarter on the radio, and because the broadcast was going into WA only, Hardie and Cometti were showing their true colours and were BIASED AS !! AND I WAS LOVING IT!!!
At the end of the game, Cometti said the Eagles need to forget about top 4 and top 2 and start worrying about premierships.

For sure! I agree- if we can win in Melbourne and win at home convincingly then I think we need to start thinking about destroying the lions thoughts of a threepeat!! I think we can do it, i reckon we can beat any other side in the comp now! The lions, Port....anyone!!! We can do it!! We are unbeatable!!

However, to my delight the boys, starting with Gardiner, Humm, Embley, Judd, Cousins, Matera and many others, found something extra inside, and we started getting the ball out the stoppages and we finish kicking the last 5 goals of the game.
I think this game was a great test of characte for our players.
We're the big birds,

I must admit, Ive always been a scpetic with Hummer! But today he proved he can do it and do it well! So I have to say Im sorry Hummer for ever doubting you!! He looks the goods I must admit! He is VERY tough! How about that front on tackle!! He smashed the pie into the ground!!
I think unbeatable is going a bit too far, but what a fu(king great win!!!!
I was so pumped watching us kick the last five goals to snatch the lead back from the pies and win a game we so much deserved. Great away win boys!!!

I must take back everything I have thought or said about Embers. He was fantastic! After my hands had cooled down from clapping so much in the first qtr, I had the 'collywobbles' in the 3rd qutr, but back they came and showed their true style!
