NEW ARRIVALS
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Shane Birss and his partner Amy Nelson to the West Adelaide Football Club. Shane played AFL football for the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda playing 71 games in total.
Other recent signings include Robert DeJongh ( Norwood ), Tom Langford (Tasmania VFL) Fortunato Caruso ( Coburg ) and Chris Schmidt who we are very pleased to have returning to the club after two years at the Brisbane Lions. Ryan Willits has also signed on to remain at West Adelaide following his AFL delisting.
Wade Champion, Daniel Harris and Bradyn Fisher have also returned to the training track and are doing well.

Such dreadful records as Sturt had between 1989 and 1996 (though the demarcation is oh, so abrupt) or Hawthorn from 1925 to 1953, or St. Kilda for several periods, or on occasions various WAFL teams, is something those really into football must never forget no matter how unpleasant it is.That's right I forgot Sturt had no fans when they were the competition easy beats winning 8 spoons in a row, going winless in a season and about to fold, yet now they go around posting (expletive) about other teams being the (expletive) ever.
