This is rather simplistic, but....

Original shareholders in Indian Pacific become noteholders when the WAFC took over the Eagles license.

The main benefit they get is priority access to finals tickets which is especially handy come GF time - basically guaranteed a ticket if you're a noteholder.

Grand Final appearances are not too far away for these boys...

as in 5 years.. $1500... $300 a year approx... worth it for a guaranteed ticket to a GF :p
