Is there a game against Peel next Sunday as curtain raiser?

Quietly buried 3/4 of the way into a story on Kurt Mutimer, the club has confirmed that there is in fact a Beagles v Peel curtain raiser on Sunday.

“He will start his push this Sunday at David Grays Arena for West Coast’s WAFL team, who are playing their first pre-season practice match against Peel Thunder ahead of the club's JLT Community Series stoush with Fremantle.”

Mmmmm funny that. Heard on TV that the game starts at 12.30. Very hard to find any information.

They have a training session on Saturday, but in season will be released back to their ammo club unless held over as and EMG.

The Dons have lost premiership hard nut Kieran Hug, who will try his luck with West Coast’s WAFL side.
Hug, a tough inside midfielder, will only play for Donnybrook if he’s not selected at the Eagles.
