I agree. Been waiting 3 or 4 years to play the chook raffle card. I did, and I'm comfortable with the decision.

you are kidding arnt you.... because they dont all play interleague they dont deserve to be in the team of the decade?? lol.....if you think their players are the only one to turn down the opportunity to play interleague for no benefit your clueless

The reason most of them shouldn’t be in the team is the lack of time they spend in the league most of the good ones only stay a year or two. Byrnes shouldn’t have made the team Mead or Ryan should’ve been in

Disagree Byrnes IN for mine - but Bonnet (Colts), Fev (DP), Hahn (Sun), Bench (Alb), Douglas (Sun), Endres (HC), Viola (HC), Pickard (Alt), Molivas (WD), iaccarino (SW), Shylo (x3), Bloomfield (Alb) all could go in, but tough calls

If Bench didn’t get in then it’s a total shambles of a selection process. Shylo also should be selected and so should Mead.
-Bench has been a star of this competition in a side that’s been struggling over recent years. Captain, loyal, played rep footy and a absolute star. If he played at DP he would probably have a comp medal around his neck.
-Mead has been very good at hoppers over a number of years. Surely gets selected as the small forward.
-Shylo done it all in the comp and must be a starting mid. Maybe doesn’t have the big name but he has to be selected on what his achieved in WRFL
 
Would definitely have Bonnet ahead of Barling and Bloomfield ahead of Panayi. Dean, Kennedy and Finco all questionable in the positions selected. Looks like they have just tried to select the best players.

You've missed the point. None of those blokes play those positions. Kennedy & Dean both on ballers and Finco mid/forward. All gun players and probably in the best 22 players of the decade but if you're going to pick a team 'in their positions', pick them in the positions they play FFS.

will they be competitive, do they have a list that can match it with the big dogs ?

At least YSE should have a couple of seasons to build, can't see any of the current Div 2 sides wanting to come up at the end of 2020, with the possible, maybe, plausible exception of Wyndhamvale.

Will be interesting to see what happens now that VT is gone see if any players leave and if so who the new coach can replace them with, if their squad stays similar to how it is now they’ll struggle a lot
