Not a great look for Buckley. Regressed according to the ladder each year against the previous year except for 2018.

You don't think that it's relevant that we've regressed on the ladder every year but one of Bucks's reign? Seems pretty pertinent to also mention that the one where we improved was straight after the review, when Bucks took the start of preseason off and it was regualry reported that Nathan took a back seat and handed over more responsibility to players and assistant coaches. Do you reckon he's stuck to taking the back seat? Do you reckon that he's still following the recommendations of the review? I reckon he's reverted to his pre-review regressive ways - the results are certainly heading that way.
As far as I'm aware, the ladder is king. Under Buckley we have finished lower than the previous year every year other than 2018.This discussion is a farce, we finished 15-7 two years straight in 2018 and 2019.
In 2016 we lost 13 games
In 2017 we lost 12 games
We haven't went backwards every year. If so, only one spot down
Yep, we sacked that bloke, replaced him with the work experience kid. The rest, as they say, is history.2010 - 1st on the ladder
2011 - 1st on the ladder
Yep, looks like going backwards to me.
Ladder is King is a flawed argument - for Victorian based teams. As far as I'm aware, the ladder is king. Under Buckley we have finished lower than the previous year every year other than 2018.
No way to spin that, regardless of how hard you try.
The only first we finished in for the 2011 season, was 1st of the losers.2010 - 1st on the ladder / 17 Wins
2011 - 1st on the ladder / 20 Wins
Yep, looks like going backwards to me.
Whilst I agree in the finishing positions - thats not how the ladder works, nor the premise of this stupid threadThe only first we finished in for the 2011 season, was 1st of the losers.
Geelong finished 1st.
Have we gone forward any year other than 2018?Whilst I agree in the finishing positions - thats not how the ladder works, nor the premise of this stupid thread

It doesn't deserve its own thread, but the suggestion that we've only improved in one year of Bucks's 9 at the helm is a valid point, particularly as that one year he was hands off.Whilst I agree in the finishing positions - thats not how the ladder works, nor the premise of this stupid thread
The OP was about us under Buckley finishing lower on the ladder every year other than 2018 - as that is not in dispute, you seem to have twisted into something else, to suit your sycophantic agenda.going by this logic, only two teams have been successful in the past 10 years, Hawthorn and Richmond. Every other side that has any form of success hasn’t been able to follow it up
Its a nothing comment, pretty much every team over a given span of time climbs the mountain, comes down the other side and not always with the grand prize. The OP was about us under Buckley finishing lower on the ladder every year other than 2018 - as that is not in dispute, you seem to have twisted into something else, to suit your sycophantic agenda.

SycophanticSettle down mate - a bit of useless trivia offered by the OP deserves the derision its getting.
No NEUTRAL gives it any credence as an insightful commentary on Buckley as a Coach.
we've been "nutted at the clearances"; "lost our shape in transition" and... "didn't have any assets at the drop of the ball"!You don't think that it's relevant that we've regressed on the ladder every year but one of Bucks's reign?
