What a difference a year makes

This time last year, there were so many people calling for Bower to be traded and were laughing at those few of us who said that the boy had potential.

This year everyone loves his ass and is saying how well he has progressed and cant imagine the defence without him now...

It's amazing what a year makes...

This time next year, I think that people will be singing the praises of Russell. He was brought to the club by a crocked coach and badly trained... He has shown a lot of glimpses of what he will become and with another pre-season with the development staff I think that next year, he will shine.

One the whole... there are is going to be a lot more improvement over the next year and a few players who are getting called duds will be considered part of our core 22 and people wont want to lose them.

For now... lets just think of what an improvement this year has been and where we will be going over in the future...

I dont think that Ratts is going to be happy with 10 wins next year... I dont think that Ratts is going to be happy with Fev only kicking 99 goals in the home and away season...

Unfortunately a year later and we still got flogged by the Hawks

All up, a much better year for the blues, and next year we have our first realistic shot at finals in 8 years.

The boys wont let us down, another pre season and add a few more decent players and we will more improvement, players like murphy gibbs and kruezer will step up further next year and really start helping us climb the ladder. We have a great coach in ratts and he to will improve with another season behind him.The future is alot brighter than it was 12 months ago, and this time next year we will be saying it again, we have a great future with leaders like judd and ratts, bring on 09 and beyond.

And we all thought that Fev was awesome when he kicked 84 goals and won the coleman a couple of years back...

This year while we are attempting to get used to Ratts game plan, he kicks 99 goals in a solo effort... next year after a full pre-season with Ratts and the development team and possibly getting another forward, I reckon that Fev will kick a ton and we'll probably finish about 6th and shake up the finals...
