Played a little under an hour of Risen 3, and liking it so far. The first part, which I seem to be through was totally linear, but my understanding is that the game opens up around this point and I can go where I like. It still feels like Gothic/Risen to me.

I'm about 5-6 hours in and I can confirm that once you finish the first island you can go anywhere. My biggest gripe with this game is the lack of armour. I'm still wearing the same clothes I started the game in. I haven't seen the option to buy any from merchants nor have I found any in chests. Seems weird.

If it is like previous PB games, then acquiring armour is a big deal. You will get some when you join a faction, I imagine.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Really enjoying the game, never a dull moment and while I don't know exactly what's going on the whole time, I'm following the story well enough and am enjoying it.
Wouldn't mind perhaps a bit more of a focus on the political side of augmentations etc. but it's fairly well covered.

I'm yet to kill anyone, really enjoy the stealth aspect of the game and surprised after 20hrs I still have the patience to crawl through every vent and hide behind every box.

I do wish that your augmentation cells would all recharge, instead of just the first one recharging, kind of limits your ability.

Taking a break from Total War Shogun 2 to play Final Fantasy 7 on the PC. Might be the closest thing we get to a HD remake, unless those recent rumours are true which they probably aren't.

Finally started The Wolf Among Us after buying it during the steam sale. Enjoying it more than TWD already.

Same here, except I got it on PS3 for $10 down from $30. Thought that was a decent enough price and has an easy platinum as well. Up to the fifth episode now, I think I agree that it's better than TWD. I had no expectations coming in and it's blown me away, I had never even heard of Fables until this game was announced. Definitely an interesting twist on the classics, I want more games in this series. I wonder if we'll get a season 2.

Walking Dead Season 1. Ahhh this is my type of game :) Starting episode three now and looking forward to playing through it towards season 2.

Sniper Elite 3.

Is holding my interest a lot longer that I thought it would.

Will probably give it a quick review on the next podcast.

The game has some pretty bad ass shooting.

About 30 hours into Risen 3. Absolutely love it so far like every other PB game it has its issues but the positive outweigh the negative for me. Once you join a faction combat changes a hell of a lot. It's quite damn fun!

Haven't been gaming much at all the last week or so.
Hoping to get stuck into a few games over the weekend.

Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (VITA)

Sorta put this on the backburner lately, around 12 hours in and I'm up to the Lightning Plains.
Keen to make some more progress, I really like the battle system and sphere grid in this Final Fantasy.

Skyrim (360)

I have about 105 hours clocked in this game yet still have so much to do in it.
Currently working on the Dark Brotherhood questline.
This game has been making my 360 freeze a bit lately so I have to remember to save regularly.
I would like to play the Dawnguard & Dragonborn DLC's at some stage as well.

Forza Motorsport 5 (XB1)

I'm probably about 50% complete of the career mode, so I'm slowly working through them.
I really like Top Gear's introductions to all the events when you first join them.
Great game that looks incredible and the controls feel authentic.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (Gamecube)

On of my all time favs, I'm playing a replay of this right now.
Up to the 3rd chapter at the moment. Still so good!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)

This is even better than the original in every aspect, really enjoying it when I feel like something light hearted.
I have around 20 something stars so far.

Persona 3: FES (PS2)

Persona3_battlescreen.jpg

Been playing this for 2 years on and off, so it's taking me awhile to make progress.
Up to and boss at the moment that is kicking my arse, might need to grind.

I finally (seriously) finished Red Dead Redemption.

The game grew on me over the duration. I can see why people love it so much, has moments of absolute greatness, but I still don't LOVE the story or any of the characters, really.

The gun play is fantastic. The open world is vast and beautiful and there is always something going on. The missions are mostly fun, a little repetitive, but when are they not in an open world game? I enjoyed the ending and I've still got plenty to do in terms of side quests.

It's an easy 8.5/10 for me.
