About 400 hours on FC26. I don't know why. Haven't played since it rebranded from FIFA but for some reason I decided I'd jump back in this year and I got absolutely hooked on weekly objectives, SBCs, events and promos and now trading on the market (made about 500k coins in the last two weeks). Hated playing competitive but some how just made it to div 6 and qualified for champs.

Big LOTR fan too, but I really have craved a Skyrim style LOTR game for a long time. There are some amazing strategy game mods out there, Warband, M2TW and CK2/3 - but the only RPG style ones have been a long way from what I'd hoped for. Give me the world of Middle Earth to explore, I don't care if it's Fellowship timeline or not but I want an open world version of Middle Earth. Instead we get Gollum, Mordor series, Dwarves, Hobbits. But yes hopefully these rumours deliver, crazy that it took Hogwarts for people to realise the demand for these games.

****ing awesome game. I clocked Shadow of Mordor and was wondering how they would improve. They did a mighty job. The combat is sensational so is the Nemesis system. I'm so close to knocking this one off.

Banishers: Ghosts of new Eden

I’m really enjoying this, did it go under the radar? It’s fantastic.

I just finished it as well. Hadn't heard much of it. I had a blast with it early days, but for me it got quite old quickly. I sped through the main story without a care in the world for any of the rest of the content, and even that felt long.

Its best aspect is the haunts but the game moves away from them as the core far too quickly.

It would have been a ripper if they'd streamlined it and not forced an open world RPG into it.

In the process of downloading Doom Dark Ages. I downloaded the first half of it, so could play through the entire first chapter. The little I have played has been super fun. Can’t wait to get into more in a couple of hours.

Actually yes I resubbed to GPU for free (forgot I had a redemption code to use after my pc purchased back in August) and that was the first game I downloaded. It's basically Shredders Revenge but with Marvel skins and some quality of life changes. Only played the first level though.

During the recent sales on the PS store I bought Watch_Dogs:Legion with all DLC for under twenty bucks. My WORD was this game unfairly maligned. I am having so much fun with it. Yeah it's a bit different to the other two in the series but I actually get what they were going for with the recruitment idea.

It doesn’t matter the generation, IMO, Doom is still the best shooter around.

Need to get back into it. Was pretty much the reason for getting a new PC this year, but I smashed through Doom 2016 + Doom Eternal (again) + all DLC (for the first time) back to back before starting Dark Ages and was probably a bit Doom'd out by that stage.

Doesn't help I also played through all the games included in the Doom + Doom 2 free upgrade not long before that (playing some of them like Final Doom for the first time, OG Doom I could probably play blindfolded at this stage).

Agree it's the best shooter series ever. Even bad Doom (some of those official Doom 2 map packs are absolute bullshit ) is better than most shooters out there.
