What console(s) do you own?

Just to get a snapshot of the break up of the board.

When I began posting here, perhaps a year ago or so, the board was noticably pro-360 in its bias.

Over the last 6 months or so, I get the feeling we've reversed the polarity of the forum, and it is now blatantly pro-PS3.

I have both.

I buy mulitplatform on 360 (prefer Live and the 360 controller) and exclusives for PS3

Personally prefer the 360 as a console, probably because I have more games on it though

Perhaps more people are giving the PS3 the credit it deserves, or perhaps the PS3 has just had better releases over the last year?

Not sure. All the major releases this year (for the most part) have been cross platform, with a handful of exclusives for each.

The exclusives that have been released this year, I have preferred the 360 ones off the top of my head (taking PC release out of the equation as I don't game on PC)

That I can think of, the games like Fallout 3, FarCry 2, COD4 / COD:WaW, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge etc have been the major games - all cross platform, with LBP for PS3 and Gears 2 for 360

I'm sure there's heaps of games I've forgotten about from earlier in the year and exclusives for each platform though

I'm just glad I've got both to enjoy

ps: I didn't own any of Sega's consoles except the dreamcast (though played some games at friends house)

the sega saturn is one of the overlooked icons in gaming history because of its unpopularity outside of japan.

eg: Panzer Dragoon Saga only had bout 4000 copies released in America because Sega America was on crack.... now copies on ebay go for hundreds of dollars

or how bout Kenji Eno, the "John Romero" of japanese gaming. He made many revolutionary game on the Saturn including D and Enemy Zero..... there was this game there was even only sound...can't remember the name.

He was supposed to be a Playstation exclusive developer but they pissed him off immensely for some reason or another. At a japanese games conference at the Sony booth to announce him joining the playstation family...he did the most amazing thing. He had video footage there that morphed the Playstation logo into the Sega logo and he said infront of all the press "I'll be making games exclusively for the Sega Saturn".

Apparently he had a friend who was a senior executive at Sony so he suffered no consequences.

Hmmm, i don't have saga, but i do have the original, same thing?

Stuff ebaying it tho. I've got all my old consoles and games packed safely away, well, back to my megadrive anyway. Reckon they'll be a real curiosity someday.

My Atari 2600 was given away and my master system died long ago unfortunately, Would love to still have those 2.

nah, it was an epic rpg based on the Panzer Dragoon universe....

some fanboys consider it the greatest rpg of the PS1/Saturn/N64 generation but I wouldn't know.... haven't played it yet :3

it was released when Saturn was dead in the western world (they were giving away 5 games with every console but still noone would buy it ) so hardly anyone except the japanese owned a copy.....

I sell mine too, not because of space, but I never get the urge to go back to say Xbox1, when I've good Xbox360

I always trade up and move on when the new console comes out.

Happy with 360 and PS3 (plus there is the PSN and XBLA if I feel like playing an older game)
