What do we do for a crust???

This is a thread that I ran on the Port Adelaide Board which had a good response so I thought I might broaden the thread and see what everyone else does for a crust.

You don't have to say exactly where you work if you don't want but just a general description would be good, eg. if you work as a stripper and you don't want to say you work at the Crazy Horse just say you work as a stripper. (probably a bad example but anyway!)

I will start off my saying that I work for Optus as a Customer Service Representative.

Now that doesn't mean that you can start abusing me now about your phone or television account.

I'm a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at SCGH. Basically that means I perform a lot of scans on patients used radioactive tracers. The most common scans I do are bone & lung scans. I also do a lot of work in the laboratory.

I work (virtually unpaid, tho I get free rent etc) for our family business, a Psychology/Counselling, Hypnosis, Feldenkrais, PTSD and EEG Spectrum clinic.

I'm a Neurofeedback and QEEG Assessment Technician along with general office dogsbody doing everything from sweeping the floor and making coffee to dealing with the Government Departments and Critical Incident Response Teams.

Life is never boring around here, more often than not it is nothing short of totally chaotic!

Back to the topic, I'm studying a Diploma of Sports Coaching in Wangaratta at TAFE starting in March.

I am a casual waiter and soon I will ditch that and become a pool lifeguard when I'm qualified in a few weeks time.

um, i work in a kinda deli thingy... we sell a heap of stuff - like foods... we got a huge range, so its a pretty good place.

Office administrator for a Computer Networking company, basically means I have to do all the hard work, while my boss does the easy stuff.

I clean the local salvation army hall once a week, and also do casual unskilled labour at a warehouse, when they want me. (I really wish they'd phone me actually, I really need the work.)

Other than that, I'm a student (and I just got back into the course I really wanted, and had attempted once before. I no longer have to tell people I go to uni in st albans. That's a bonus.)

I work at David Jones as a stock runner, moving stock round the store. Pretty laidback job, good workplace, plenty of eye candy, no real complaints apart from it's only casual so I don't get as many hours as I wish.

Go to uni part-time, finishing (hopefully) after first semester, should be looking for full-time employment now as my cash outflow is by far exceeding my cash inflow but (as usual) I've just been bumming around on days off. Next week, I'll start looking, I promise myself!
