The 1990 strip - Black stripes on a predominantly white guernsey

OR

Todays guernsey - White Stripes on a predominantly black guernsey.

Ive gotta go with the 1990 strip.

To be honest I never noticed the difference until people on these boards pointed it out.

I the one we have now, but the old one is cool too. I'd like to see that become our away jumper. It could be our home jumper, with the current one becoming our away jumper, but I think the white-backed jumper would look better with the white shorts.

We should wear both though, definitely.

The older jumper which had more white than black is the more traditional one i think and doesnt clash with other jumpers as much.

If we reverted maybe the calls for an alternative jumper maybe subued somewhat.

I prefer the 1990 version but the one I like best is the one I had as a kid with Billy Pickens no.25 on the back. Long sleve alternating black and white stripes with no solid and a black collar.

hate seeing the magpie insignia guernsey worn in any H & A season game.

I love the traditional pre-2001 guernsey...plain black stripes on white background with black numbers !!!
Have about 5 guernsey in this style (including a 2004 Heritage rd jumper for xmas - bewdy !!).

do not own one of the current guernsey

I much prefer seeing Collingwood in their traditional black-on-white guernseys, with the black numbers. It doesn't clash so much and it is their traditional guernsey. Fingers crossed they'll be wearing it both in the away game v St Kilda in a couple weeks, and also in the Heritage Round.
