What do you do during a bye weekend?

So, given that we're not playing this weekend, what's everybody doing?

Are you using it as a chance to catch up with those who you usually don't see as much of during footy season?

Do you watch other games for the weekend?

I'm half thinking of going to http://www.afl.com.au/video/smart-replay, and watching a previous Saints game: say, the Essendon clash this year. Anybody thinking of doing the same?

I actually have a life outside this forum.

Believe it or not...
Why, whatever do you mean?

For anyone who's in Melbourne tonight, The Rebels play the Tahs at AAMI Park, Kick off is at 7.40pm.

Tickets are pretty good. Your behind the post ticket is $25 for adults, and $20 for concessions. It's a still a good view, and its GA, so you can come right up to the pitch itself.

AAMI Park is an experience unto itself, and the Great Game of Rugby Union is willing to be your second sport. I'll be there cheering on the mighty Rebels, despite the likelihood of a victory being slim. You'll also get out of the Stadium by 9.30 or so, not have to take the train.

Given the bye, why not?

I will be where I am most other weekends, following Port Melbourne around the city. This week it's a trip to Box Hill to take on the ladder leaders.

Honestly, I have such little affinity for the plastic feeling of the AFL it is rare for me to attend a game. I'd have stopped paying attention at all if I didn't love my Saints so damn much.

Good luck mate! I'll have a dabble so I feel your joy/pain as well. :thumbsu:
