What do people think? Vote for your club to merge or go to the snow when your team is playing. Both things the Melbourne members have done or do weekly.

As RJ constantly says, it would have been a take-over (of Hawthorn) not a merger.

And didn't Carlton get like 15,000 to a recent game V Port or Freo last year. Where were all the Blues fans that day?

I look at it a different way.

I think the club subjecting it's supporters to a 43 year Premiership drought is far worse than anything the supporters have ever done to the club.

Given that we've got 19,532 members already signed up i wouldn't be worrying about our supporters, worry about your own.

In fairness the Dees mediocrity has spanned several generations now. Going to require a generational shift for them to become flag-focussed at this point. I guess it's possible, but not likely.

Voting for your club to merge is the lowest act in football. No respect, no passion, no love for your club. All characteristics of the average Dees supporter. (And average is such an appropriate term too)
