Holland is pretty low. Even if his girl was being provoked, he should have grabbbed stella and ran instead of going in for more. Pretty pathetic

I would say "punching a girl in the head" without a doubt, had he not been defending his girlfriend. As it stands, I don't know.

If someone was attacking my girlfriend, I don't think I'd be standing on ceremony.

That would be a somewhat adequate defence, but,
A) Holland's missus and her friend started it
B) All three of them had her on the floor and were assaulting her before she bit Holland, "provoking" him, and
C) He is a footballer, capable of hurting a full grown man, while she is a relatively skinny woman

Now, I personally think that Ben Cousins is a d**k for what he did.
But noone can honestly say that a person taking drugs is worse than what Holland did.

He is scum.

I hadn't really been filled in on the full story (and consequently hadn't voted in this poll), but reading today in the Herald-Sun, and now what you've posted above, I have to agree what Brodie did was pretty damned bad. I do think there are circumstances in which punching a girl in the head would be justifiable, however, it's just that this wasn't one of them.
