Autopsy What just happened? A draw???

Lots of positives out of that match. If we can play like that PLUS Pendlebury and MINUS a couple of the passengers in our team just imagine where we can get up to next season. Still really disappointing haha that's three super closer ones in a row (GWS-MELB-ADEL).

Oh well! Play the kids and lets build for a big 2018.
Ah, yes.

The 'cant wait for next year' attitude.

I'm quite sure you would have thought that at some point over the previous 5-6 seasons.

How's that worked out? I'm pretty sure we've continued to regress year after year.

But definitely, next year.......

There really wasn't much Blair could do. He had nobody helping him between the boundary, if he just blindly kicked it forward you can be assured that ball was probably coming straight back.

Sometimes giving the opposition a free kick (time to matchup) is the least worst option. And we almost got away with it.

It was a poor decision to take the tacklers on with that many minutes remaining. I'd rather he kick it 40 meters & we are 90 defending 90 meters than turn it over on the 50 & give them a big chance to score. He thinks he is Dustin martin with his fends but get pinge3d repeatedly. never learns from it either.

Ahem but season 1 and season 2 we made finals
So we really are only talking about four seasons of "next year"

But the whole of football is always about "next season" unless you win the flag.

It will be forever like this.

Without next season, there is nothing

Well-drilled (coached) teams don't panic that much, or make that many mistakes.
Actually most teams panic.
It's how they contain the panic that counts.
We aren't there yet, so we make more mistakes.

All you can ever do is learn, improve, build the list, improve, move forward

We didn't lose it in the last. We lost it in the 2nd quarter when we were all over them consistently going into our 50 and stuffing up.

That's a bingo

I don't get why people would focus on the negatives...We're no chance to play finals, our season is over, yet people are losing the plot over a draw...Geez maybe it's cause I'm no longer invested in 2017, but give me a spell.

Wells was unreal, as was Adams. Langdon before he got a knock was sensational, and Moore proved his worth once again.

For a team with nothing to play for, coming up against the best team in the comp, it was a bloody good effort. Just appreciate the match and move on...

We're finishing year six of Bucks' reign - not year two or three.

Triple M saying that Ed, Pert, Walsh and co in a tight huddle talking in earnest. Ed looking very unhappy, red rising through the cheeks.

Could be the straw that broke the camels back for Bucks.
What's Pert doing there?

Sorry old times resist

He kicks it 40 meters into the arms of a waiting arms of Crow defender (which is what happened whenever we kicked it blindly out of defence - the crows defenders were pushed up and cutting off that ball every time) then the Crows move it back in again quickly.

He played well today.

But he wilted under the pressure, didn't back himself to execute a very simple kick 5 - 10 metres inside the boundary where everyone was expecting it.

He fell away badly in the second half ehen the heat went up.
Tends to play well when we are in control and allowed freedom to roam, then goes missing or panicks when the heat is applied.

hahaha geez you're shallow.
If his attitude to footy, yes a game is to enjoy it, you won't be changing that.
If his attitude is that there's always next year then let him be.
