Adelaide or West Coast have to lose for a start, then we have to win with a greater percentage than the rest of the top 8.

I think there is extremely little chance to be honest. If Adelaide lose, which is possible, they have to lose by a fair whack for us to leap frog them percentage wise unless we smash Port. Also We really need Hawthorn to lose at the same time, because they have such a huge percentage.


Personally, I hope we don't make the GF, we play our final game in WA and it isn't televised. I think that will give us the best small edge for the first couple of games of the real season.

If both lose it's wide open, but we'd probably need to win by at least 6 or 7 goals.

We need the results to fall whichever way keeps us out of the final of this Mickey Mouse competition. I think it would be a distraction from our round one preparation.

Win or lose it's irrelevant - it's still important match practice against decent level competition. If we do make it - then great, no need to go out and win it - just use it to blow out cobwebs and refine the game plan. Better that than playing intraclub matches where the players are more predictable.

As long as the stars don't align and we end up vs the Eagles in the GF. Both teams would kill each each as per every Derby and comprimise round 1.

Anybody read the west this morning? They managed to stuff up the ladder and push us below Geelong. I was surprised they hadn't put the Eagles ontop as well though.
