Danny Frawley backs Tiger move

• FORMER Richmond coach Danny Frawley has backed a Tigers' investigation into drafting Ben Cousins.

The Tigers last night asked the AFL to allow them to place Graham Polak on the rookie list giving them an extra pick in next Tuesday's Pre-Season Draft.

That would enable them to take a young player and possibly fallen Eagle Cousins.

"Good luck to Richmond for at least having the courage to go through the process," Frawley said.

The former Saints defender said he thought Cousins deserved a chance to resurrect his career.

"I just hope Ben get an opportunity.
Everyone is hoping Ben gets an opportunity," he said.




"He's got some stringent hurdles to jump over but I think it's be a great story."
