We all knew that after NaturalDisaster left the Furies they needed to re-brand themselves and make a fresh start. They had been stale for several seasons now, bringing out the same old jokes and relying far to heavily on the old "our captain is shit" routine as they only way opposition posters could engage in match threads.

And we all applauded the new captain TJASTA when he set about changing the team LOGO, mascot and uniforms. Some people were surprised by the use of a cartoon but hey TAZ is pretty cool and when you think about the Tassie Devil you think tenacious, aggressive, hard edged, tough and the right amount campaigner.

But this is where it all fell apart.. the only things the new Furies line up have in common with the Tasmanian Devil is disease ridden and on the path to extinction. But I'm not a heartless man so I have come up with a way to help the Furies realign their brand to their core values and I need your help.

Firstly we need to find a catch phrase that truly represents, not only their actual output but also factors in what potential they have within their ranks, as the word "fighting" cannot be attributed to anything they have dished up this season or is something we could expect to see anytime soon. Secondly we need to match the logo to this new nickname and not only raise the brand awareness across the league but capture exactly what this club stands for in the most simplest of ways.

For example here was my first thought:

And rather than have a picture of Taz i would overlay this picture of a card table.

It folds in seconds, offers little to no resistance, is light weight and compact and only comes in beige.

Please leave all suggestions below.
