I think that the doggies would be intersted in hansen i think they could take both hansen and big bad bazza and have a real crack at a premiership next year

What do we do with him? Hinder Notte's development, Kennedy and Brown's, or is Hansen good enough to retain his spot?

If we are well and truly rebuilding, then Hansen could be traded (preferably to a decent club, as he's been a good servant for us). Maybe he could go to the Sydney Swans for a second round pick. He'd certainly be a change from Barry Hall.

The thing that irritates me about playing Hansen at CHF or further up the ground, is how slow he is to move the ball on.

Watch Mitch Brown. When he takes possession across half-forward, he either handballs to a team mate running past or plays on himself. When Hansen gets the ball he goes back on his mark and allows opposition defenders to flood back into our forward line.

I think this is largely due to his lack of pace and agility, so it's not a case of just asking him to move the ball quicker, he doesn't have the physical capability to achieve it.

If Hansen is to play, it must be at FF IMO.

Keep bringing up his trade value, you mean?

However, Tarrant will get him this week, which will leave Kennedy on Grover.

How is this guy gonna stop The Fridge?

Tarrant by the sounds of it will miss the derby. He's got some kind of knee problem apparently.

That's the problem with Hansen, now he's kicking a few goals and seeming like solid backup and worth keeping. Catch 22 FTL.

:eek:No way mate hansen should be traded no questions asked his form won't last

Sheeeeeeesshh!

Mate, Hansen has turned the corner. No more hamstring problems, sorted out his goal kicking and is a great asset to have. It's just that we have several other younger CHF's who will be peaking right when we need them too.

THAT's why he's worth a 2nd round pick in this years draft which is weaker, especially for tall KPP players.

Now this is the truth, no whole truth and nothing but the truth. Go home and practice this until when you repeat it it sounds unequivically correct and believable.

Your not in sales are you?:D;)

Carlton are crying out for a CHF who can be a foil for Fevola.

Hansen would fit the mould beautifully and give them a chance of finishing Top 4 to use Judd the way he should be used (ie playing finals).

Trade him for their 2nd rounder (likely to be Pick 29 or so) or better still trade him and our second rounder for an upgrade to their first rounder.

he was amuch better player when Judd was dribbling the ball down his throat.

I'm sure Hansen, B.Mac, Staker will all be offered up for trade but anything less than second round prob won't be worth it.
But since we have Kennedy as our CHF, i would pick Hansen as our best option at FF who doesn't do too bad out of the Goal Square.
