sorry if this was covered in the other Warnock threads. just wondering what the purple faithful felt you should do with Warnock. and i dont mean trading.

do you

a) play him in the remaining games with the potential benefit of:
- driving his price up and bring out other potential bidders (providing he performs)
- he may decide to stay if he feels like he is a contributing member of the team

or

b) play him in the magoos for the remainder of the year so:
- give another youngster the opportunity to have game time
- dont unnecessarily develop and give him experience that would only benefit his new team
- show to other players and teams that you mean business (ala port and nick stevens)

i vote b)

c) Play him as the number 1 ruck, so it exposes him to injury, whilst protecting Sandi. Don't shepherd for him when he has the ball, not that that will be a problem. Basically, do everything in our power to get him hurt.

Yep, c) looks pretty good right here. :thumbsu:

Running them into the ground like that is known as the Judd technique isn't it Chops? As much as I like that idea I say just treat him like any other player.

If he pulls his finger out and earns a game give him one. If he wants to sulk for the rest of the year let him rot in the reserves.

His value is probably already high enough just on perceived potential. He hasn't exactly been great when given a chance this year and I doubt a few more games of him moping around halfheartedly is going to pump up his value much. In fact, if he plays like shite and we keep playing him his value might actually drop.

F@$k him!!!

leaqve him in the reserves, then come trade time let Melbourne offer whatever they can for him (to which we decline) and let them pick him up via the PSD for what he thinks he's worht ($500,000+) then let them see that he has no heart and try to get the best out of him while we snare whatever other player than nominates for the PSD that we don't know of yet, could be Cousins (hope not btw), Kerr, Some Geelong dude, but who knows.

i'm not dark on judd leaving (after all, he did deliver us a flag) because he obviously knew that he wasnt going to be here this year, so the easy option would have been to pull up stumps mid season and have the surgery. it was obvious that he was still trying even up to his last game.
