Rusty skills, and played undisciplined footy in the second half. I view the Blues not beating the Dons by more than 40 points as a loss. But gee, the Blues do have some serious midfield talent. Setanta keeping Lloyd to 2 goals was nice. I think Mal Michael's career is approaching it's end.

Essendon's foot skills were ordinary at best, same candidates who must be on last chance. Waite was good at CHB for blues and Setanta did well on Lloyd. This new rule is joke, will certainly jepardise someone like mal michael career, now you just put the biggest unit you have in the square and he puts his hands up, cant touch him or its a free, like what freo did with sandilands a few times last night... The afl should use the nab cup like sides do, trialling new rules, not just bringing them in without a test. Very hard for most full backs, they have been told for years to work opponents under the ball and now cnt hold ground when they do it.....

If that's true, by your reckoning you probably won't win any games this year. If the AFL would do the same, it would be a good ploy to continue hoarding high draft picks, maybe you should lobby them?
