I wouldn't be too carried away with getting him. Hes a good player but not elite and is not that skilful or quick which should be our priorities.

Pick 21 and Shane Woewodin sounds only fair...try and get away with Pick 37 first though.
actually, Bartel is worth way more than 37 that is criminal, not trading no.5, trade 21 for Bartel anyday.
I disagree with Locks. He is very skillful and can find the pill. He is however very slow.

We all know Bartel is over rated, did you see the game against sydeny?? shocker, i have been watching him since about round 14, he is an average midfielder.. People will go on about him getting 20+ possessions but he does nothing with it, most of them are in the backline or quick hardball gets.. he is not the player we neeed, we want someone who can kick the damn ball accurately, break the lines, create some play, get tagged haha..

You collingwood people are hysterical, the trades that you propose in an attempt to get big names to your club is quite humouress. The Fact that someone said the Warren Tredrea is coming to Collingwood and you guys were talking about it seriously is laughable, and the fact that you guys overrate Chris Tarrant is also very laughable, face it Collingwood football Club is a joke you havent got anyone good enough to trade to any other team in hope of getting anyone good

Don't forget Jimmy Bartel was the leading GFC player in the brownlow count last year and will again rate very high as well as this year for the club best and fairest

Geelong seem to be stacking their forward line with talent and have forgotten it takes a midfield to feed them the ball. If Bartel left for Tarrant i'd imagine that Geelong would slip down the ladder substantially while the crowd blamed the disfunctional forward line.
Collingwood would be the winners in this trade. As talented as Tarrant is, its becoming more and more apparent that midfields win games.
