I wouldn't be too carried away with getting him. Hes a good player but not elite and is not that skilful or quick which should be our priorities.

That said if Geelong were'nt asking the world like I expect them to Id still love him at the club.

Licuria and Holland are superstars. Burns still has it, and Didak will be a gun midfielder in the next few years.

Tarrant for Bartel is fair.

Geelong seem to be stacking their forward line with talent and have forgotten it takes a midfield to feed them the ball. If Bartel left for Tarrant i'd imagine that Geelong would slip down the ladder substantially while the crowd blamed the disfunctional forward line.

Collingwood would be the winners in this trade. As talented as Tarrant is, its becoming more and more apparent that midfields win games.
