What would you do if you cant take another day at your job? I'm talking about a committed full-time job, not a casual job stacking shelves or shoveling shit. Has anyone had the balls to just up and leave and not come back?

Seriously thinking about it now. I hate the whole process of resigning and giving notice - I just want to leave everything at work and not deal with having to talk to my manager. Just write a quick email saying I'm not coming back. My contract says I have to give notice, but what's gonna happen?

I hope things workout for you. They say when you find a career doing something you love, it ceases to become a job. I would advise you to try and find something like that. If you can't do that, a hot mistress.

Give them 4 weeks notice, start to take a sick day once or twice a week (just tell them you have stress related health issues if need be) and in that time you'd hopefully have some other work lined up. They're not going to want to spend time and money on you if you're leaving so they'll probably leave you alone.

Already have work lined up, sort of - get calls to do relief teaching almost every day and am registered with a teaching agency. And just today I got an email asking for interest in a 3 day per week position.

Seriously thinking about the stress sick leave option. I know it sounds soft, but that's what it is. The job is stressing me the hell out to the point of feeling physically sick going to work in the morning, and entertaining really bad thoughts sometimes.

My mum was very stressed out at her old job where she had been for around 35-40 years. Left it last year and she feels great now.

Just sayin that lots of teachers have discovered themselves again by going teaching in stints at remote communities.

Seeing what people haven't got makes you appreciate what you have. Especially when you learn the less someone has, the more love they have

Take 2 weeks stress leave. Think about what you really want. Exercise and eat well. Keep hopeful. Keep positive.

How old are you mate?

One thing Ive learnt in life - if its too good to be true, it is
That was pretty much how I took it. I didn't know what sort of scam, but it had to be one. I'm just not the sort of guy women find that irresistable. In fact I am the sort of guy that women find utterly repulsive.

Unless you're a celebrity or super rich then even the best looking blokes would never get propositioned for sex immediately in public.

For women Id say its a different story.

Thanks mate.

Yeah trying to keep positive and sureing things up. Getting into teaching and coaching has been a plan a long time coming but just waiting for the right moment to do it. With things like they are at work, and they way things are with a high demand for high school teachers the time is now.

Im 31 - age isnt exactly on my side though.
