Shaw's disposals are disgusting, let's be honest. It's probably a bad thing that he averages more disposals.Shaw is averaging more disposals than Harris and breaks lines.. you couldn't get 2 more different players but they suit the needs of each club and are the same age, line breaker for extractor.. perfect trade!
What the hell? Shaw and Johnson are nowhere near good enough for him.
Breaking the lines doesn't make you a good footballer.....But he does break lines, got smashed last week when he was on the bench
It doesn't make him better than Harris.Well the selectors disagree with you, seems he's good enough to play almost every game this year
Everything you are saying about Shaw the more negative posters over in the North board are saying about Harris.. and it seems Laidley is far unhappier with Harris than Malthouse is with Shaw.
I'd deffinately do a swap of Rhyce for Harris and then push O'Bree into the 2's.

Shaw would go close, Johnson no chance.
There's a reason they're letting him go.....he's a disgusting footballer.guys how about liegh brown? i know we have some talls but it looks like north will let him go
Well the selectors disagree with you, seems he's good enough to play almost every game this year
Harris is every bit as good as Scott Burns when in form. I'd back our coaching staff to get it out of him.
I'd offer our 2nd rounder. If Rhyce is to be involved, I'd say Rhyce + a 3rd rounder, although I'd prefer to keep Rhyce.
Ben Johnson has zero trade value.
Rhyce or Johnson may have some value to North with Sinclair retiring as well. If Laidley wants Harris out, they could trade for Rhyce or Johnson to give them coverage until the draft pick they use from Sinclair retiring comes through.
We may think Johnson has no trade value but I reckon the Bulldogs would have been thinking the same thing about Sam Power last year also.
Rhyce would have value to a lot of teams - he's fast and he's had a good season. Johnson meanwhile has been terrible all season, and was dropped from the team for good after yet another dismal performance in Round 17.
Sam Power was 24 years old, and had a strong finish to 2007. Ben Johnson is turning 28 before next season, and can't crack the team despite several injuries.
Johnno surely isn't too old for Fremantle. They took another Johnno recently when half of his salary was the aged pension.
I'm lukewarm on Harris, and am thinking along the same lines as Didaka. If we can do it with a player swap involved, great, if not then I'm not interested. Harris is probably two years too old for us to have a red-hot go at him.
