This weekend I attended two different games at the MCG, my beloved swans v Ninthmond & Adelaide v WBDogs. Sat behind the goals for the Sydney game, sat half-way up the 3rd tier for the 2nd game.

Have got to say, 3rd tier offers a perfect view of the game, get to see it unfold in every way possible, absolutely loved it. Swans games I will always be near the cheer squad starting a fracas, but i loved the 3rd tier.

What is everyone else's favorite seating areas??

i like the view in the rear vision mirror as i drive home across the nullabor with my team having their premiership cup in hand.

I like sitting on the wing seven or eight rows back on the ground level. Level 3 at the MCG and the dome is too high.

My kids love sitting on the fence. There you can hear every slap of body on body and every word they are saying. Plus you sometime see yourself on the big screen.

3rd level, behind the glass in the mcc, crownie in hand.
otherwise, when i have the kids at a game, nothing beats being close to the fence.

Ponsford stand, level 3, first row, right behind the goals.... you can read the play before it happens. You are smack bang down the guts.

I would have to agree that the Ponsford stand is the best place to watch footy.

For Anzac Day game, you will have no choice where you sit as its completely pre-sold. You'd want to get in quickly if you want tickets, it sells out pretty early...it may already be sold out.

As far as MCG or Telstra Dome goes, my preference is second level.

He's not going to the ANZAC Day game itself.

The view is no better from the MCC members' section than anywhere else. The seats might be plusher but the height of the viewing area is the same.

level 2 or 3 mcc members wing is the best place to watch the footy

southern stand has the sun blaring in ur face all arvo

level 1 hard to see what is going on up the other end of the ground
level 4 too far away
