Just wondering what people thought of the Hawk Simon Taylor's 3week suspension being thrown out?

I thought his bump on Setantrum looked very similar to Nick Maxwell's bump a few weeks ago, and was surprised to see the charge thrown out completely.

Your thoughts........

He contested it, we didnt.

If we had of contested the Maxwell bump, he probably would of got off, but because we didnt contest it, we never found out if he wouldve got off.

In hindsight, we should have contested it, wouldve only missed the Nth game as an extra, wouldnt have made that much difference.

I was surprised we didn't contest the charge, but i think the Tribunal is very similar the the umps when it comes to Collingwood:

If it's Collingwood or a Collingwood player it's the letter of the law,

If it's another matter it's open to interpretation.

WE did not contest the "second" Maxwell bump as it would have just thrown petrol on the already blazing situation with the AFL.

I am all for Collingwood contesting every report this season, no matter what, and questioning the still ridiculous umpiring, but I think the Club and AFL have made some kind of "bargain" after Eddie met the AFL over the biased free kick ratio and the blatantly antagonistic umpiring inconsistency.
