I'm thinking Saturday arvo or maybe 5.40 saturday so really it would be a saturday night game.

If we play Carlton, it will be Friday night. If we play Hawthorn it will be Saturday night (due to the "omg perth is so hot in the day" complaints)

It is definitely Saturday, i know someone who is security at the ground and they have been told it it saturday. They just dont know what time yet, but I would say it would be afternoon with Sydney home final at night. They aint going to be playing a day game at ANZ Stadium, and it wont be friday night due to not enough break for opposition sides

AFL have already said the two QF's will be the night games. so that leaves us playing on Saturday arvo for sure

That's probably right, but it sucks for the top four side that lose's on Sunday and gets a 6 day break against a side that finished in the bottom half of the 8 that will get a 7 or 8 day break.
I much prefer night matches. For me at least it seems the atmosphere is a lot more...'electric'. :/. Would be pretty dissapointed with a Sat arvo time slot but I think that will probably be the most likely.
