Buckley should never play again. Jolly needs to harden up or make way for Wood. Dawes needs to be in the VFL to regain form.

I really hope the people who rave on about Buckley after he picks up 30 touches against Melbourne watch this game. He will never perform under pressure and should not play again.

Our mids broke even I thought, which in my mind is a loss... on paper we should have smashed them in the mid.
Our defenders are horrible 1 out. Harry... omg, Betts cleaned him up again.
We had NOTHING up forward. Cloke seemed to spend half his time up on the wing. Dawes is horrible. Our "small" forwards did nothing at all. All we did was bomb it in, then have it cleared out.
More injuries and Wellingham out for a few weeks.
Far out.

OK Buckley is easy to replace but who plays the back up ruck role if you dump both Jolly and Dawes. Not much thought goes into venting I understand.

Marty Clarke was incredibly fumbly. I would have thought he'd have got a mention here. Reid was terribly out of sorts.

Wellingham is gone. Will be weeks. Not sure of his current record but a clean sheet won't hurt him.

We got smashed in the middle by a far hungrier team...a midfield of very ordinary players outside Judd.

I picked out these three players because they've have proven records of being under-performers when the pressure is really on in the past two years. Cloke, Reid, Swan, Sidebottom, etc have all performed in big games in the past. They have runs on the board and I'm not going to lay the boots in because they've underperformed in one match.

Buckley I agree, I have no idea how he gets selected but the other two have actually won us games when the pressure was on.

We were outplayed, out hussled, out tackled by a team that played better on the night. Got killed in clearances and trust us to play Yarran back into form along with others. He was allowed to roam free all night with no pressure.

Buckley costs us 2-3 goals every game, tonight continues that trend.
Clarke continued on from where he left off two weeks back, that is, very poor.
Cloke can't play with decent defenders on him, and then missus sitters from 15 metres out that kills momentum. Yet he wants more than $700,000 for 4 years. He must be kidding, the more weeks that go by, the less I care if he goes.
Carazzo beat Beams, forgiven for a bad game, but will need to learn how to play the tag when Pendlebury is out.

With danger games coming up against Geelong and Hawthorn, all of a sudden we're in danger of missing top 4.

I'm with you on Cloke , never beaten a decent defender , freo must have withdrawn that offer by now surely.
