What sort of mischief did you get up to?

I was reminiscening the other day about some of the mischievous things my brother and I did when we were younger. I was a pretty sly and cunning kid since I was always good at giving the impression that I was an angel when that wasn't always the case.

Some of the things, my brother and I got up to were:

We had a pair of walkie-talkies (which fortunate for us shared the same frequency as a trucking company) so we'd get up to all sorts of mischief, peeing off truckies, which was fun!

A regular campaign of prank calls, occurring as soon as we were left home alone. When the Simpson's first started, we thought we'd emulate Bart and Lisa's feats with Moe's Tavern so we'd semi-regularly call a pub we looked up in the phone book and cheese off the bar staff!

A memorable prank call on my mate's house, my brother ordered (since he was always better at pulling off pranks) the worse possible combination of a pizza and then we secretly ran down to my mate's house to see the pizza arrive and get knocked back! Somehow they caught wind of who did it and rang my folks and I managed to wiggle out of the blame since my brother called (even though it was my idea). My Dad sent my brother up to Pizza Hut to apologise to the manager about the prank, my brother started crying while apologising and I did feel guilty, for a couple of minutes!

And, then there were the regular lemon and lime fruit wars with kids down the road who attempted to take over 'our' park, one of the next door neighbours had a couple of lemon and lime trees so we'd spend many days after school throwing lemons and limes at each other!

In hindsight, I was quite a little bugger when I wanted to be!

Main thing would have been teasing and taunting my yia' yia' and friends baba and papu (which are wog names for grandparents) We used to steal their beer, steal their matches and light fires in the park, cut down trees, wreck their house.

Used to press our butts on the windows at ppl walking past and used to hose ppl over the fence as they went past.

General boring stuff like knickknocking and boring prank calls.

We would taunt the neighbours and milkbar owners by stealing and leaving dirty things around the shop.

Threw lemons over at the neighbours tin roof in the night.

This one neighbour we used to call cranky lady coz she acted like a hoe on heat and used to sing this cranky lady song to her and trash her property.

Jumped the neighbours fence and ripped up their whole garden.

Used to kick all the footys and sports stuff up on the roof on fridays and run up the school on the weekends climb the trees and get them all down to take home.

Set a girls hair on fire.

Steal peoples dogs and cats.

Broke into someones place when they were away and reorganised all their stuff to scare them.

Would ring up other ppl who wanted to play with us desperately then hid when they came over pretending we werent home and made them cry.

Used to play at Waverley Park and get up to all sorts of michief gettin up on the roof of the stands and stealing signs.

Get drunk and stoned and break windows up at the school, threw a burning rubbish bin through it one time.

Got chased by the cops for vandelism.

Break into lockers at the school on the weekend and steal everything.

Leave peoples taps running.

My feral best friend used to **** in ppls gardens and garages haha the pig!

Used to steal schoolbags on the weekend when the private school kids had sport on.

Set fire to school uniforms we found left around the playground.

The best time was when we got to totally trash this school that had shut down but it was really scarey at the same time.

Calmed down a bit lately although did something childish with old high school friends a few weeks ago, throwing eggs and ringing up pizza to someones house. Nothing major like before!

Me and my best friend/neighbour used to:

*Throw eggs at washing lines
*Hang out at the cemetery not far from our houses and catch tadpoles in the ponds they had there
*Sneak to the local shops when we weren't allowed to. Getting caught sucked (grounded for 2 weeks at the age of 7 something).
*Ride our bikes heaps far away getting lost many times, saying we were going to a friend's house
*Start up dog walking agencies without folks permission
*Get pizza's delivered to people's houses that we disliked

Heaps of other crap, just can't remember it. Lately done less of that kinda crap of course, but still getting into my fair share of trouble.

That one is always good. Never did it, but was considering doing it some times.

Me and my cousins once stole about 55 videos from Target in 1 week. I was like 12 years old, so I dont feel guilty about it..

Ive attacked my grandma's next door neighbours chickens with apples, thrown a cat into a wall and got caught putting a cat into a dryer.

Other than that I had a clean record
