Where should I go in Melbourne to see the snow?

Simple question. Planning a trip to the snow. Dont know where abouts I should be looking to go

There's usually quite a bit of snow at "the snow".

Mt bullet to see the full on snow resort. Major day tour companies get you up and back for the day, you can try skiing or just ride the chair lift, have some snow play or try tubing. But if you actually want to walk around on it and maybe fall down on it ou will need to get some waterproof gear. You can her this up there.

Dinner plain is to far away-5 hours. Lake mountain is site seeing and cross country only. It's 2 hours away, mtbuller 3.

Mt. Buller has good snow and a great variety of slopes!

Been to Buller and Hotham before and from my experience Hotham is MUCH better. Usually has more snow than anywhere else in victoria, (Buller has less than a meter Hotham has over two!). But then again Buller is much closer, while Hotham's drive is beautiful you cannot do it in the same day and back.
