Well after that debacle we still have one more game to go before the season starts, does anyone know who we will play and where? I hope its away so we can get a little more travel practice before the season starts.

What can we look for this week?
Who will be rested and who are we likely to see come in for a run?

I would say Polak and Haddrill will probably play and with any luck Schoey and Cook dissapear and dont come back anytime soon.

Atleast i get to go down and have a look at Sturt next weekend now.

All my hopes for the night are on the Force now, Manly and Freo both going down isn;t a great night.

Assuming the lights at Freo Oval pass the AFL's "test", then the next game is against Port Adelaide at Freo Oval on Friday night.

Seeing as it's St Paddy's Day (always a big day in Freo!), I reckon they should wear their green training jumpers!! ;)

Who'll be "rested" this week? Hase for sure after copping a corky, Josh apparently did something to his hand, so leave him out... Give Schofield the royal raspberry!

I hope Drummy gets a run, Johnno comes back in and Duff plays again.

Polly, Haddrill, Scotty and Haydos would be half a chance surely needless to say our defence needs it.

Sunday Times said today (but absolutely no guarantee that there's anything factual in it) that these four were likely to line up in scratchies for their WAFL clubs this weekend.

id say drummy get a run and the rest also like roger the doger and polaks and hoty scotty

There was nothing wrong with the defence -- especially considering its age. They only conceded 14 goals. Our forward half only kicked 11 goals. You're hardly ever going to beat Geelong with 11 goals. It was senior players like the Carr brothers, Schammer etc who kept turning the ball over that caused the problems.

And the sealer in that argument is the forward half was going so badly they could take Milburn and Mooney and put them forward.
