Will it be the 'backs to the wall come out and fight' Richmond, or the 'injury-ravaged down in form' Richmond?

I really wanted Richmond to win against Freo, and not only for my tips. While the injury of Holland helps us (very unfortunate injury, wish Mini-Dutch the best), and Richo is still hamstrung (literally!), I am very nervous about Saturday.

I think Richmond are up and down like a heart monitor, and this week is their 'up week'. I remember Hawthorn came out of a rough trot against a red-hot Richmond last year and gave them a football lesson, but I can't say I am confident this time around.

Yes, Hawthorn have lost (again) and will be determined to make amends for our poor form thus far, but Richmond will be doing the same. At least you have two decent wins under your belt (ironically against two sides that beat us, while the team we beat did your lot), and a half decent ruckman in Ottens.

I'm a very nervous Hawthorn supporter. 1-4 would be too much to handle... :(

well mate going by both side,s performances on the weekend a draw would be a fitting result!
i remember last years match and you absolutley killed us. while this year isnt quite the same senerio the fact remains we are so far down in our bigman department all the hawks have to do is play half decent football and you will have the edge.
when a side is tuned into kicking long into their fwd line its very hard to get out of that mould and as proved yesterday freo just used their strength in the tall department to perfection.
unless richo make a remarkable recovery i cant see the tigers getting over the hawks this week.
cheers!

I think we might struggle with the lack of bigmen we have available and the hawks are going to be under the pump so they will come out firing, so like you Hitman i am a nervous supporter however a nervous Richmond supporter not a nervous Hawthorn supporter.

Don't worry Hitman, Hawthorn will kill us. We are badly undermanned and low on confidence. I'd expect a 6 goal + win to Hawthorn, and we won't be back until Richardson and Stafford return.

That makes two of us :(.

So far for us we have gone W, L, W, L (geez I hate that - unless it's the W week ;)) but coming up against this Hawthorn mob, I'm not confident at all.

I would prefer Richo stay out another week. I don't particularly care if we win or lose. We need him healthy. We can beat the Hawks in the tail end of the season.

Hitman, don't worry. We are going to beat you at least once this season (possibly twice). If all you are worried about is this weekend, cheer up. Looks good for you. Step back though and get a broad look at your seasonal prospects and it doesn't look good at all. Start nursing that ulcer, my friend.

As for the Tigers, we'll go at least 13-9 even if we have to choke down a few "L's" in the near future. If you can tolerate that, good news is on the horizon. Peace all,
