I lived in London for almost 4 years and never went to Lords or The Oval. Idiot. I walked past them enough times.

Edit to add - also lived 2 stops from Wembly Stadium! Never went there either. Although I did get stuck there when Milwall were playing Sc unthorpe in a FA cup tie or some such thing. It was........interesting....

Actually not at all, I really enjoy the game. Just somehow never got around to it. Kept meaning to go to an Arsenal home game. Meh. Live and learn.

When I lived there I kept putting off watching Southampton play at Old Trafford, Afield etc, it was always 'next season'. Then they got relegated so I got to enjoy the likes of Colchester, Stoke, Southend and other shitholes instead. FML.

I live a couple of hours away from Melbourne and no-one around me seems to give a stuff about going to the footy these days, so I just watch it live on telly. That's ok with me. I can have a few drinks and not worry about driving. Besides, who on earth wants to get home at 2am after watching a night match anyhow?
