My friend and I were having a discussion the other day, and he made a claim that 'kazakhstan would become a superpower of the world' to which I just laughed.

His claim was that Kazakhstan had plenty of natural gas and petroleum as mentioned

My counterclaim was that Richmond would have more members before Kazakhstan would become a superpower.

So guys can you help me settle this dispute with your opinion.

The US is still a superpower. Its military spend is as much as the rest of the world put together, and its GDP is the size of the second, third, and fourth countries put together. It's home to a quarter of the world's 500 largest companies (double any other country), and its pop culture penetrates more of the world than any other nation's.
Kazakhstan doesn't (and will not) have the population to be a superpower, and as a landlocked country, it's almost impossible for access reasons also.

Anyway, who cares whether Richmond gets more members than Hawthorn. Richmond is a club that manages to be rubbish regardless of how many members, match attendees, good players, and facilities upgrades are present. If you're not playing in grand finals, you have nothing to boast about.

As a club with plenty of latent support, I'm sure Richmond will have more members than Hawthorn during an era where Richmond are consistently making the finals, and Hawthorn is not. They've wasted the first half of Deledio's career, though, so who's to say they won't waste the second, too.

I don't know about North Korea; I hear their army is shite! I don't know think they're on the same level as the other three technology weapon-wise.
