I don't think he'll be a good fit for our club in a development/coaching role. Not yet anyway. During this year, I heard stories of him going out late with the young players. We can't have that sort of influence at the club. The players didn't only lose respect for Pagan, they also lost respect for Lance. He is unprofessional and needs time away from the club.

His knee seems good enough to play cricket. He made 80 for Lalor on Saturday

BINGO!

Lance can now go to his first love....indoor cricket... where he can play with his mates and have a pie and a few beers and then off to the TAB...

Lance is now doing what he loves best in life.... the problem is there is no money cming in and alot of money going out.

"Unlikely" swann and icke would let him anywhere near our kids now...:thumbsu:

Stick to the gossip you pick up at the club's dunnies, Sinners - you know nothing about footy.

I might pick up gossip at the clubs dunnies.. (Pretty good goss too)... but thats not what i heat you ick up in dunnies..;)

Lance got the arse... he and his manager swear its not as bad as we made it out to be..

Lance was given the opportunity to retire... he chose not to...thinking his mates would save him...
Icke and Swann made sure Lance was gone!!!!...ecause he has nothing to offer....

And he wont be coaching our kids...unless his mates make PRatt feel charitable to Lance.. who has nothing going for him anymore except indoor cricket ...

Steves will have to pick up his sox now roo.. there is no room for bludging and partying.. the cub has moved on from unprofessionaism... Judd is part of the new Carlton.

Our early picks are also chosen because of their attitude.

Lance = the past .... when we were shyt ecause of a poor attitude from senior players...

Judd= the future...

See ya past!!!.. hello future!!!:):thumbsu:

I don't get why its "unlikely" he'll get a job at Carlton, whilst we've just handed out coaching positions to other former players such as Teague and Lappin. Teague - playing coach for the Bullants - **** that! I would rather Whitnall as a form of coach then both Lappin and Teague. We all know Whitnall has agreat footy brain, I havn't seen any reason as to why we should make Teague and Lappin as our 2 coaches who work on developing our players

They probably don't want him near the kids eating hungry jacks/hot dogs/pies/mcdonalds/beer every day.lol.

lol? you think that's funny?

Not really, but he was a poor Captain in AFL/VFL history. I knew we would get no where for years while he was playing, don't let this rubbish 1 year cloud your memory.

He was only good for the first 5 years. It's about time our players/trainers shaped up or your out and that include the guys who get the footballs on the ground in training, not just footballers looking fit,the whole group who train them.

We don't need to offer him a job at all. We don't owe him anything. If anything, he owes us.

If Lance gets a development coaching job at the Carlton Football Club, it is an absolute joke. That role requires leadership, something, last year, Lance showed that he didn't have a whole lot of.

If if if. If Lance had of looked after his own bloody body, then he may still have been Captain of the Carlton Football Club in 2008. If he had looked after his own body, then he most probably wouldn't have had the degenerative knee injuries and the CONSTANT weight issues that have plagued him over the last few years. The fact is, that he didn't. We gave him plenty of opportunities, even giving him the captaincy. Not even that worked in getting a rocket up his arse, and making him recognise that we cannot keep giving him another chance.

And that was the correct decision to make. They should follow it up by not offering him a job at the club, especially not a job anywhere near the development of the kids.

I think you'll find you have know idea as the condition has been in Lance for a long time, but it had nothing to do with weight, obviously it might have helped him slightly but wasn't ever going to stop it happening..

I agree Lance should have looked after himself better, but I wish he had of retired as a senior player of Carlton and not been delisted it was quite sad for that to happen to a captain of the club this year to be delisted the same year.

You are an idiot..

What do you know about Lance's captaining ability, he had a great brain for the game and lead his players well, he didn't look after himself well enough and has a knee condition that has ended a Carlton favourite son's career..

Lets face it, lance was the fattest footy player since plugger. He was clever at using his weight which added to the impression that he was a "clever" footballer, kind of like when people lose one sense they get better at others. Lance lost the sense of movement and picked up the Vulcan Mind Meld allowing him to make us all believe he was Ed Whitten of the footabll world (look that one up under the convergence of the five streands of string theory into the one M theory).....here is the idea in VIDEO

I think Rioli might have something to say about that ;)

Think you are showing a lack of resepct for a bloke who has served Carlton far better than many others that have pulled on a Blues guernsey.

I'm an idiot,i must be,i pay membership, buy merchandise on the club,go to games when I'm in the rain and get ill, then our Captain forgets his watch, has a family spat when we trying to not be a laughing stock.

The club is laughing stock to all 15 clubs seeing us on the bottom of the ladder and then the guy appointed Captain get's the boot, never happen in AFL/VFL History.

His knee condition has ended his career, funny how Nixon thinks a club can pick him up for a few years.

His knee might be bad,but mostly him having the weight has ended his career.

The thing is if you can't run in the AFL you chances are almost Zero unless you are a ball magnet with skills.

Most clubs are delisting some players with great potential because the commitment isn't there like Collard, who probably will get a second chance.

If you not willing to do the 100% and extra to achieve success, even if you club has been struggling to win,you are gone, because eventually your club will get there and if you want to be part of it you have to be keep doing it.

Lance was the one who showed a lack of respect to the members wo paid his wages and the club he was contracted to and also the captaincy he received.

How coud he have been sent to fat farm after fat farm and in his captaincy year get disciplined by the club for being more lazy than he was ever prior?

Mind boggling.

Lance should have worked harder not less hard.....

But the winds of change have swept through... and Lance has been blown away.........:thumbsu:
