Agree, but we need to define why he was un-booable. Because he was always fair and downright good? As others have said Black was not alone, and at Geelong alone, I reckon Corey Enright is unbooable, and possibly Harry Taylor.

Probably for a while. I think the difference being that there was definate and onbvious incident that occured to why the Carlton supporters booed Dasher. People seem to be booing Goodes because he is unhappy about being booed.

Any really young players are unbooable for me. I heard Kayne Turner copping a boo the other day and cracked it.
That little bloke from the Bulldogs with a helmet is unbooable. He's just so cute.

If I saw him play, I would bow down to him whenever he took a breath.

But in todays game, I cannot boo Gary Ablett. I just appreciate that we are lucky enough to see one of the best to play the game with our own eyes. He can kick 74 goals against us in a Final and I would still stand and applaud him.

This isn't true.
All Akermanis was trying to say is there are hundreds of inspirational people that die each week. Why should one be so much more celebrated than another because he was in the public eye.

While its always going to occur that way, he had a point.

Stynes was a wonderful man, but so were many others that died in the same week/month as him and got little to no recognition.

People say Pendles, ablett, pav etc... They all get angry, argue with umps, push and shove etc..

Swan is the only player I've ever seen, out of all those mentioned, including pies players, that never, ever, ever shows frustration while playing, even if the decision is disgraceful, he doesn't argue with umps, ever.
He doesn't push and shove behind the play, he doesn't stage for frees, he doesn't argue with players, he doesn't do jack shit on the field except play high class football, to the point where sometimes he frustrates me when he doesn't at least show some disappointment at a shitty umpires call.

Even off the field, he doesn't really argue or bag other players or people in the footy industry........

He is seriously unbooable, no one comes close imo.
