It's often obvious which teams the TV + radio commentators barrack for, cos they um . . . barrack [hello eddie]. Identifying who the print journalists support can sometimes be a little trickier.
I think it would be a good idea for the columnists to declare their allegiances next to their byline. That way we can assess their reports more skeptically.
Of course, for bandwagon jumpers like Robert Walls, this would mean changing his byline almost weekly, but few people take him seriously anyway.
On the surface of it, my guess is that there's a disproportionate amount of Essendon fans in the print media. Is this a fair assumption?
