I generally feel sorry to see anyone go, even Jason Wild. I do miss Willo. Seeing him sparkle for the Swans did my heart good. He still has that explosive brilliance and he's not a front runner-he was their best as we blitzed them in the first quarter.
I was fond of Schaubs too, and I thought he played and was coached very well on Saturday night.
I miss them because I liked them as players-I don't miss their presence as the current team is very satisfying to watch.
I was sad to see the back of Mal Michael at the time he left. I know you shouldn't listen to rumours, but the stuff about him sending rude e-mails to female office workers and that SMS message to Molloy put me off him a bit.
Im happy with the way we are now. Don't know if I would seriously take any Ex-Collingwood players back that are still listed. Suprisingly enough, our backline has done tremendous this year without the likes of Mal in the side. We have the better defence in the league at the moment from looking at the stats. A lot of youngster's have done really well for us and with some senior players taking the next step. Mal would be beneficial but I'm still definitely happy with what we have now. A lot of potential!.
If it was to be a past player to fit into our current side I reckon I would want either a young Moore or Monkey back in. We need ruck!!!!
Schauble was always weak.
Out of these three ex-defenders of ours, (Michael, Schauble *not SHWARBLE that stupid Fox commentator*, McCartney) I would have to say McCartney.
I also really miss Aaron James, Jamey Tape, Mark Orchard, and the full back of the century Clarke (debuted in the millenium match)
You could have had Aaron James back if you really wanted. Although all of us at the bulldogs will always remember that kick at preseason training. lol.
Although I do miss reading something decent. I'm gonna go get where's wally.
