If memory serves me correct, in 92 the Eagles were the first non Vic team to win the AFL flag, the Brisbane Broncos were the first non NSW team to win the flag and the Toronto Blue Jays were the first non US team to win the title.

I am yet to find any team to give a rat's about in the NRL, which is a shame considering how much press it gets here. Maybe when a WA team shows up... the Raiders just do nothing for me.

I have developed a soft spot for the Force in Super 14. I'm fairly ambivalent towards the Brumbies.
