Who Gets Judd & Kerr?

With news of Johnsons broken hand likely to keep him out who gets the job of trying to restrict the influence these 2 will have on Saturday. I recall last year Wallace gave Deledio a chance at running with Judd for the 3rd quarter and we got smacked after Johnson kept him relatively quiet. Perhaps Polo gets the chance at one of them but who gets the other. My first thought was for Newman to be given the role as he has been used as an effective tagger in the past. Apart from that I don't see any other real option although they have been using Jackson as a tagger in the VFL I think it would be too big a step up to expect him to come in a do a job on one of these blokes.

Shane Edwards has the endurance to be a tagger (like Polo) but it's a big ask to be playing on Kerr!

Polo was said to be dropped btw, which I don't understand if true. Johnson and Polo are our 2 main taggers... we will definately miss Johnson.

Might be better off tagging the other 19 players more chance. Have our best two go head to head with them they can't be totally effective if we cut off who they have to give it too. There gonna get the ball no matter whos on them but cut off there options limits there effectiveness.

In all honesty thats not as silly as it sounds what have we got to lose. Nothing. No one expects us to win including many Richmond supporters, the season really couldn't be any worse so bugger it lets go for it. Nothing to lose and everything to gain i think it isn't such a bad move.

Benny you seem to have forgotten to use after your post. I would hope that Kane had been given a pain killer to have made that statement other wise it is true they are a delusional bunch down Punt Rd way.

I'm really looking forward to going along on Saturday - good to see the premiers and how they operate and good to see how we go about competing with them.

Just hope we allow the game to be open and don't play in a way to minimise damage. I'd rather get well beaten and see some good signs than lose by a few goals and fall asleep. Winning by 15 goals with Schultz kicking 14 would be nice too I guess
