I still like Jordan Lockyer.
He is aggressive and can mark a ball. He's no slouch in congestion either and can make and break tackles.
May be through "rose colored glasses" but he has a touch of 'Hurley" about him and I think has the attributes to develop into a great tall who can play anywhere.:D

From the highlight clips I prefer Jordan Murdoch to Lockyer. In Murdoch's clip he appears to beat Lockyer easily in a couple of contests and makes him look a little slow.

Lemming Phantom Draft 2011
Pick 22 Carlton Jordan Murdoch
Pick 23 West Coast Name: Jordan Lockyer
Pick 24 Gold Coast Name: Daniel Markworth
25. St Kilda Clay Smith
Pick 26 Richmond Elliot Yeo
Pick 27 Adelaide: Brad McKenzie

Would we take McKenzie if he slides that far?

Visy Park is half back flank city, yet you can't have too many good kicks.

McKenzie might release Yarran. :o

I can see us taking another Wayne Hughes Special in Markworth, McKenzie or Murdoch.

Need a hard mid or Kersten.

Yep, agree, I hadn't seen a clip of Murdock. Looks good but I just thought Lockyer was capable of playing just about anywhere - forward or back and maybe a bit in the middle. I'm not sure of his pace. I guess I'm looking for the next Waite?

Interesting, does he really fit in with their structure though? Depends on where they see Post and Vickery in the future.

On a side note, Jason Phelan's AFL phantom draft goes up at noon.

I think Richmond might have finally conceided that Ben Griffiths is the new Scott Gumbleton - so perhaps Kersten can fill a leading forward position.
