If the Carey in question is no other than the infamous Wayne himself then this is a silly poll.

Lockett was a FF and Carey is a CHF so they cannot really be compared directly.

In regards to who is better, there is an arguement that Lockett was as he is the games record goals holder. But on the same token Carey from his time at North is regarded as the best CHF of the last decade, if not century.

So both would have cases to as who is better.

Baldock said he thought that CHF was Locketts best position, but his asthma meant he couldn't play there permanently.

I think Baldock also thought that the fat boy was also our best ruckman at one stage.

Both were great players. I'd be perfectly happy to have both playing in my side.

As players, these are two of the best ever. Regardless of any off field indiscretions. I'll have them both!

You cant just rate a player on the ground he has to be all round, lets face it both guys are going to be an icon and cult figure for whichever club they play for in my opinion neither man has proven themself worthy of a role model status. Good players though.
