Opinion Who will be the captain in the next generation?

hey i was thinking on how good our draftees are and how they learn from one another. Like how Motlop looks up to SJ and christensen looks up to stokes. And for some reason they look the same like how motlop kicks unbelievable goals and so does SJ. So who do u think will be the captain in 5 years time.

I reckon Selwood will still be captain in 5 years time - he is yet to turn 25, so unless something big happens like he moves to another club or retires at a young age Selwood will still be running around in the hoops in 5 years and I can't think of any reason why the club would expect him to stand down as captain nor why he would opt to stand down.
He was touted as an AFL captain from a young age - not like your going to tell him as a 28yr old that he has to stand down.

Selwood will be captain for the next 8 years in my opinion, so it is really rather irrelevant to speculate now, as there could be any number of potential candidates who haven't yet been drafted. Of the current young list, I could see Horlin-Smith as captain with Duncan as vice captain. It's fun to speculate, but really it is so far off it hadn't even entered my head.

I love all Cats supporters like they are my own family and if you were one of mine I would offer this advice.Give it a rest with the new threads for now and join in more in the discussions already open it's a great way to get a feel for what's going on and become a part of a wonderful community.Some of the most respected posters on this board hardly ever open threads it's not that important.
