Of Carlton recruits, Blues fans surveyed were most excited by

44% Dow
23% Kennedy
13% Garlett

(Which leaves 20% for the rest) ...

Gibbs got 60% of Crows fans Votes ...

and ...

Dylan Buckley got 6% of Giants fans Votes (with Deledio getting 11%).

I was more surprised by the fact that because Deledio had 11% of the voting it implies that 100 or more people voted and therefore that there are at least 100 Giants fans...

To debut this year I'd definitely like to see Kerr get some games providing he proves himself at VFL or preseason as he has bulked up a bit and showed some promising signs in the VFL last year. I'm hoping de Koning has a decent crack at making the side as well, just want to see as much forward line development as possible to add depth and pressure to keep spots in the side and he is pretty handy in front of the sticks from what I've read.

Naturally Dow and Windscreens will get their share of game time too, that should be a given.

Mullett & O'Shea on merit but great depth options otherwise. I haven't really sussed out whether they are effective users of the ball or not.

Garlett should get his share of games as well given he's ready made, just hope the gamble in the draft picking him up proves to be a winner.

Would be great to see Le Bois make the team as well but from what I'm aware of he wasn't really a shining light for the Northern Blues last year. Seems to train very well preseason though, much like Jones did up until last year until his efforts on the track translated into quality performances on this field. I hope this happens much earlier for Le Bois than it did for Jones.

I just hope Lang isn't like another Kerridge, has a few good games but otherwise another list clogger. Same with Shaw, I don't see many opportunities for him unless we're desperate through injuries. None of these trade sweeteners can be worse than Smedts though.

Jesse Glass-McCasker I assume will be delisted at seasons end, Kerridge and Graham could go the same way too, Thomas wont be required much longer either. Certainly helps we have drafted well and our draft pick ups are hungry for their spot in the team and show some pretty decent ball use. They are my preference over players who haven't proven themselves at another club although I do hope all our players shine of course.

Schumacher is another one that on appearance (he kind of looks like Neil from The Young Ones) might be spending a year in the Northern Blues as well.

With the defence additions I hope the players we've recruited for those positions such as MacCreadie and Williamson retain their spots by merit and O'Shea and Mullett earn their opportunities, especially Williamson.

I think Polson might be struggling for a game at this rate unless he absolutely dazzles in the VFL.

The key debuts for me are: Dow, Windscreens and Kerr and hopefully over half the season each for them on merit of spot earned.
