Thats the point, the AFl signs a billion dollar deal and it assists to help sustain a club that cannot stand on its own two feet.

i don't subscribe to this theory.

Freo have some great young kids coming though and they been drafting really well the last few years. cant see them getting worse at drafting in the near future ether.

there youth is as good and young as any club in the afl.
so when Pav, Sandilands and co. retire its more likely that freo will still be a better team the Melbourne, North, Richmond and Essendon because of the exposure there youth has had by playing finals.
